Tan Chuan How

Chief Executive Officer

Tan Chuan How is a seasoned leader in Singapore’s financial services industry, with more than two decades of experience spanning frontline sales, agency leadership and executive management. He joined Manulife Financial Advisers as Chief Executive Officer in February 2026.

He began his career in frontline sales and progressed through senior leadership roles, including Chief Agency Officer at Income and Chief Executive Officer of AIA Financial Advisers. Across these roles, he led large scale agency transformations, strengthened advisor productivity, and championed digital adoption, including the transition to fully digital sales processes.

Having grown through the ranks, Chuan How brings a deep understanding of the advisor journey and remains focused on sales excellence, leadership development and building high performing advisory organisations.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours from the National University of Singapore, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and has contributed to the industry as a MoneySense speaker supporting financial literacy in Singapore.
