How would people describe you in three words?
Goal-oriented; highly adaptable and doggedly persistent!
Who has inspired you in your life and why?
Jesus. He showed me through the Bible God’s unconditional love for me through Him and how to live each day to the best.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
Eagle. So I can soar high and see further.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Israel.
What is a skill you'd like to learn and why?
I would love to pick up some culinary skills as it would also be a good ice breaker with clients.
If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day who would it be and why?
John of the Bible.
What do you do on your days off?
Spending quality time with my family.
When did you realise that you wanted to be a financial services consultant? What has changed since you first started?
My first job in the bank as a financial consultant. Over the years I have gained investment experience, innate knowledge and a deeper understanding of the financial Industry.
What was the first assignment that has left the biggest mark on you?
My first three closures – they showed me how service and sales are closely inter-related.
From your own experience, define what is it like to be a financial services consultant?
To ensure clients’ wealth are preserved, protected and enjoy a good yield in the long run.
Define what being an A-Lister means:
According to Oxford: one of the group of people who are considered to be the most famous, successful or important.
My own definition: One who has cemented his place/position as the very best in their specialised field. For me, my focus is to be more than an A-Lister – my goal is to do my best to give the best client experience, while constantly challenging the norm and continuously raising the bar of excellence through teamwork.
What makes you different from your peers?
Trusting in Jesus in all and asking Him for guidance for all my decisions.
How do you define success?
Besides monetary gains, awards and recognition, it is also about maintaining balance between family and career.
What’s your philosophy in life?
Being rooted in my relationship with God. All Glory to Jesus for all that is going well in my life.
What is the best thing about being a Court of the Table member?
Enjoying the fruits of my labour with my family and doing what I am passionate about.
